Your "adventure guides," Joy and Jessica, are ready to help you find the different EAL trails you have been searching for - from program ideas to potential resources. Before the interactive adventure begins, be sure to get your backpack ready with paper, pens, your favorite snack and drink. Be sure to leave plenty of room in your bag to pack away all the new opportunities you will identify for EAL programming in your community.

About the Presenters:

Excited to combine her love for horses and passion for people, she and Brian co-founded New Horizon Ranch in 2006. Joy became a PATH Intl Certified Riding Instructor and an EAGALA Certified Equine Specialist in 2006 and completed the O.K. Corral Series Green Training in 2008, she currently holds the CTRI credential. She uses her love for details to develop and oversee the programs at NHR.

Jessica Freund is a 2008 Baker University graduate, with an Elementary Education degree, minor in Special Education and holds an Autism Certificate from Emporia State University. She joined the NHR Staff in 2014 and is excited to combine her experience as an early elementary teacher, her love for kids and her passion for horses to change lives at NHR.
