The PATH Intl. Principles of Therapeutic Riding workshop is an on-demand, three level workshop series comprised of six separate segments that are designed to be delivered on their own, or consecutively as a series. The workshop segments go from a macro-level view of therapeutic riding into a micro-level view as the workshop progresses. Centers can deliver the workshop segments at any time that works for their schedule, without notifying PATH Intl., and may customize the order and duration over which the segments are presented.
The workshop series is ideal to educate a variety of audiences on the foundational concepts and considerations in delivering therapeutic riding sessions, from new Executive Directors to volunteers, boards, granters, clients and potential clients, as well as instructor candidates or mentors and instructors looking for a knowledge refresh.

The first two levels of the workshop, comprised of segments 1A-2C, are developed so that any PATH Intl. center employee can, with the help of the teaching notes provided, deliver them. Ideally, this person will have experience in therapeutic riding so they can be comfortable with the workshop content and confident to field any questions from attendees. The final level of the workshop, comprised of segment 3, MUST be delivered by trained PATH Intl. trained faculty. We highly encourage centers that want to deliver the full workshop series to contract two faculty because five full days are required to deliver the workshop segments consecutively.

To receive the member center pricing, a designated center representative must be logged in to the customer portal. Member centers are allowed three designated representatives, and those names are provided with the center renewal or on a change notification form. The PATH Intl. Principles of Therapeutic Riding is an educational offering and does not result in a PATH Intl. certification or microcredential.
