Lameness Conditions Affecting Performance of PATH Intl. Horses
The PATH Intl. Equine Welfare Committee works to educate the association�s membership in topics pertinent to equine welfare, with a focus on promoting the welfare of equines participating in EAAT programs at PATH Intl. Member Centers and with PATH Intl. Certified Professionals. It is a privilege to share this resource to help programs continue their education on lameness conditions that can affect performance of program horses.
In this 30-minute resource, Dr. Ashley Phelps-Dunn, chair of the PATH Intl. Equine Welfare Committee shares her experience as a practicing veterinarian to help PATH Intl. members improve their skills of lameness and distress in program equines by diving deeper into the topics of laminitis, navicular syndrome, osteoarthritis, club foot and neurological lameness.
